Anthony T. Hsu, D.O.

Dr. Anthony Hsu is Board-Certified in Ophthalmology and has a Fellowship in Medical and Surgical Glaucoma. Dr. Hsu is available for consultations, referrals and second opinions. His medical and surgical expertise includes: Glaucoma, Cataract Surgery and Comprehensive Ophthalmology.

Dr. Hsu received his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He attended Medical School at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his degree in 2007. He pursued an Ophthalmology residency through the St. John Providence Health System, affiliated with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Afterwards, he completed a Clinical and Surgical Glaucoma Fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

In 2012, Dr. Hsu entered private practice as a member of Lansing Ophthalmology and joined Brighton Vision Center in 2015. He also is a clinical instructor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology

Dr. Hsu is a member of numerous national, state and local professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Osteopathic Association and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He has lectured at national meetings, published in a peer reviewed journals, and has gone on a medical mission trip to Guatemala.

Dr. Hsu and his wife, Lynne, live in Howell. In his spare time, Dr. Hsu enjoys traveling to National Parks with his wife and spending time with his family. He also is learning to play the guitar, is a fan of Michigan football and performs volunteer work.
